FOVEO-TECH mosaic renders are a wide range of coloured aggregates and quartz sand prepared in unique colour compositions. Ready-to-use render mix for both exterior and interior purposes: to finish house plinths, frame areas, corridors or stair cases. Highly elastic and resistant to mechanical damage. Easy-care and washability without damage. Additionally, mosaic renders contain special elements protecting from biological degradation, i.e. destructive impact of algae and fungi. Mosaic renders can be used on both new and restored mineral substrates: cement, cement-lime, concrete or gypsum.
TD 50 Mosaic Render is available in two aggregate size:
MD - fine aggregate,
MS - medium aggregate.

The substrate must be even, dry, solid, as well as dust, contamination, bacteria (fungi, mould, mosses) and other chemicals free, etc. All contamination must be washed under high water pressure. Old render and paint coatings of poor adhesion must be removed. Fill in any cracks with adhesives KS 10, KS 20, KU 11, KU 21 (max. up to 6.0 mm on one coating) or standard render mortar. It’s recommended to apply GA 10 Acrylic Primer on substrates with poor load-bearing capacity, very absorptive and chalky (i.e. leaving dust traces after palm rubbing) in order to strengthen them. The render can be applied on fresh cement and cement-lime after min. 28 days, while on concrete after min. 3 months. For thermal insulation systems the reinforcing layer must be seasoned for min. 3 days. All substrates must be stabilized regarding the moisture level and the hardening process must be completed. Before render application it is necessary to prime the substrate with PA 10 Base Coat in the colour similar to the plaster’s.
Check the production batch conformity of all purchased factory containers, colour and grain compatibility with the order. Before the application mix it with a slow-speed drill. Apply on the wall with a smooth stainless steel trowel with vertical stripes of approx. 70 cm width. Then remove the excessive amount of the render with a trowel to leave the grain thickness of 1.5mm. After removing the excessive render, smooth the surface with a trowel in one direction. Attention: too strong smoothening may lead to rubbing and gaps between the grains. To avoid visible transitions between the stripes, the application should be continuous while they are still wet. Application breaks should be scheduled in advance, e.g. after the work is completed (e.g. in corners, under drainage pipes, etc.). In order to avoid differences in sand colour shades, the same surface should be covered by product with the same batch number (expiry date and batch number on the container).
Apply when the temperature is between +10ºC and +25ºC. Do not apply on heated substrate. During the render application and drying time avoid direct sun exposure, strong wind and rain. Protect the covered surface with a foil or dense mesh till drying. The temperature during application and over the next 48 hours cannot be lower than +10ºC. Low temperature and increased air humidity extends the bonding time and may result in the “milky” effect, which vanishes gradually when the temperature increases and air humidity decreases. Avoid the render application in areas exposed to long-term water or moisture impact (e.g. horizontal or sloping surfaces) and elements, which do not have proper moisture insulation (e.g. fences). The render obtains its full strength properties 28 days after application.
Any suggestions regarding unusual features of the render and the colour must be reported to the seller immediately. Works must be carried out in accordance with principle construction rules, as well as HSE standards and regulations. In case of mixing the render with other manufacturers’ products, the company shall not bear any responsibility. The purpose of the information herein is to provide optimal performance regarding the plaster application. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any damages resulting from inappropriate use or mispurpose of the product, since weather conditions during application are beyond its control.
Keep in tightly closed containers. Protect from frost and sunlight. Storage temperature between +5ºC and +30ºC.
Slow-speed drill, trowel, stainless steel trowel.
Average consumption; depending on the substrate preparation:
MD - approx. 4kg/m2
MS - approx. 5kg/m2
Expiry date and batch number on the container.
The areas where the product was used or elements covered with the product must be ventilated until the odour vanishes completely. Only then can they be used.
